the MINDFULNESS movement
a 22-day mindfulness workshop where we will focus on slowing down and living life with purpose.
mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness completely on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging, accepting, and releasing one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily senses without judgement or attachment.
while this sounds very similar to meditation, mindfulness goes beyond meditation.
living with conscious intent factors into all aspects of our daily lives; the foods we eat, water we drink, where we shop, the products we use, who we spend our time with, where we work, how we spend our free time…
living mindfully is about slowing down and living life with purpose. the problem for many of us is that we get caught up in our daily routines and we zone out mentally.
when this happens we tend to choose comfort over consciousness and we settle in all aspects of our lives. but we are meant for much greater things.
inside the workshop
we will focus on meditation, gratitude, awareness, movement, and manifesting, and how all of these practices factor into our daily lives.
