Over the past few weeks I've shared with you some tips that have helped me immensely since starting this crazy journey! From getting the right gear, to getting inspired, to defining your worth, this final tip is one that I hold near and dear to my heart...
The greatest lesson that I have learned over the past year is that no matter what happens, or how difficult it gets, the time, energy, money, blood, sweat, and tears... none of it matters if you are not having fun.
Starting a new adventure in your life whether its a business, blog, career, hobby, relationship... whatever it is, if it doesn't make you happy then its not worth your time. Its time to stop confusing self-love with selfishness. I'm going to be real with you, if you want to be successful starting a new adventure is going to take up a lot of your free time. It may test some of your relationships and get in the way of other commitments. But if you are genuinely happy and doing what you love then none of that matters because as Dr. Seuss says "those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind."
Don't be afraid to take risks and go after your dreams. If Samudra Yoga can blossom into something amazing I will be beyond stoked, but if it wears me down and changes who I am, I need to know when to throw in the towel.
Take the leap of faith - you might land on your a$$ and you might figure out how to fly, but either way do some flips and enjoy the ride...and always make sure that you are having fun!
