We are the dreamers, the believers, the change makers.
We are salty souls, kissed by the sun and ruled by the moon.
We breathe deep, live light, and inspire passion;
we rise by lifting others and we are all connected by samudra

I’m Nikki!

Marine biologist, registered yoga teacher, and entrepreneur working hard to help you live your dreams!

My nickname Samudra comes from a Sanskrit word for ocean; literally the coming together of waters. And I couldn’t think of a better vision for this space… the coming together of a group of passionate, health and environmentally conscious people ready to live a life of abundance and make a difference in the world!

If you could believe it, starting a business and sharing my journey with the world is not the first time that I have had to overcome my fears! After a near drowning incident as a kid, it took me nearly 10 YEARS to get back in the ocean past my ankles.

So how the heck did I wind up in a profession that involved working underwater?!

I found my passion! Protecting our oceans and coral reefs… and the idea of traveling around the world and scuba diving for a living sounded pretty rad too!

I used that passion to overcome my fears and take action to become a marine biologist and I used it again to take the leap and start my own business!

When I’m not fighting for the planet or dreaming up ways to grow my business and help other entrepreneurs build successful online businesses of their own, I’m probably out soaking up the sun, eating tacos, or off on an adventure with my fiancé and rescue pup, Reef.

Whether you have found your passion or you are still searching, let’s connect! My hope is to inspire you to live mindfully, create a life of abundance, and to help others to do the same!

I’d love to know more about all of you so please, don’t hesitate to head over to the contact page to introduce yourself and send me some good vibes!

Now for some business talk...

  • I am a 200 hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. My training covered philosophy, anatomy, and asana, among other things. I am not a doctor, nor am I a yoga therapist. The yoga topics that I cover in my blog posts are based on my training and continued education. Please, never try any poses or exercises that are above your level of training and make sure that your doctor has cleared you to start or advance your yoga practice.
